What should I do if my music is on the wrong Spotify artist profile?

If your music ends up on the wrong Spotify artist profile, don’t worry, there is an easy way to get this resolved. Let’s get into it!👇

If your release is already live, you do not need to contact Ditto support to get it updated. Simply go to the artist area within your ditto dashboard and enter the correct artist ID for the store(s) you want to update. Here’s how you do it:

  1. Find your Spotify Artist ID. Need a hand? Here’s how to find your Spotify ID.

  2. Go to your Ditto Dashboard, log in and locate the Artist tab from the top menu.

  3. Once you are here, click the ‘Edit your Artist Profile’ button.

  4. Scroll down until you locate where it says ‘Spotify ID’.

  5. Drop the correct Spotify Artist ID you collected earlier here.

After completing these steps, your release will be updated and processed automatically to the correct profile, and you’re all set! This can typically take several days to process, but it can sometimes be longer.
