Why isn't my artwork being accepted?
Why isn't my artwork being accepted?
Updated over 10 months ago

If you've received an email saying your artwork hasn't been accepted, chances are it doesn't meet one of our guidelines.

Make sure your artwork follows ALL of these guidelines before submitting:

✅ File format must be .jpg or .jpeg

✅ Perfectly square dimensions and a minimum of 1000x1000 pixels in size - but we recommend 3000x3000 pixels.

✅ Artwork file size must be no larger than 10Mb.

✅ 300 DPI resolution of if possible - but we accept 72 DPI and above.

❌ Don't include any text other than the artist's name and release name

❌ Other text like web addresses, sponsors, social media links etc won't be accepted by the stores.

❌ Don't include parental advisory or explicit content icons if your release doesn't contain explicit language.

❌ Don't include any explicit, graphic or offensive images.

As much as we'd love to accept every piece of artwork submitted to us, the major music stores set the rules and everyone has to follow them.

If your artwork is still being rejected after meeting all of these criteria, please reach out to support@dittomusic.com with all of your details.
