How do I create artwork for my release using the AI generator?
Head to the Artwork Generator in your Ditto dashboard and enter a text prompt describing the image you have in mind. The tool will generate artwork based on your description, which you can then download and attach to your release as normal.
How many generations do I get, and can I get more?
Starter members receive 10 generations per month, Pro members receive 30, resetting on the 1st of each month. Each prompt counts as one generation. If you run out, you can upgrade your plan from within your dashboard for a higher allocation.
Do I own the artwork and will DSPs accept it?
Yes, any artwork you generate is yours to use royalty free across your releases, including on all major DSPs like Spotify and Apple Music. Just ensure your artwork doesn't include copyrighted characters or imagery and meets platform guidelines.
Are there any restrictions on what I can generate?
Prompts should be appropriate for distribution and free of explicit or offensive content. If your prompt is flagged, try rephrasing or removing any problematic terms. The same Ditto content guidelines that apply to your releases apply here too.
