Music publishing companies, like Ditto Music Publishing, are required to work with collection societies (such as PRS for Music in the UK and ASCAP & BMI in the US) to license music to digital services, broadcasters and venues, and collect royalties.

Collection societies often collect these royalties quite a long time after the music has been used. Societies then process the royalties and make payments to publishers and writers - which usually happens on a quarterly or half yearly basis, so it could take as long as 9-12 months before you are paid royalties.

Ditto Music Publishing will make your royalties available to you within 30 days of the end of each month that we receive royalties from collections societies.
